Content Syndication
If you are a freelance, or the editor or publisher of a magazine and you want to license or buy our content, we welcome you to do so. Starting February 2008 all our articles are available for content syndication. We sell our articles to web sites and magazines. Licensing or buying content has many advantages for publishers and editors:
- You don't have to start from scratch when writing a review or an article
- IT Enquirer is well-know for its high quality standards
- You can select your articles on-line and have the raw text sent to you
- Prices take into account your costs of translation and/or editing
We try to write our articles to 600, 1200, 1800, and 2400 words limits. However, these limits are flexible, so some articles will have slightly more words, while others will have less. When licensing or buying our content, you’ll only pay for the exact number of words, though.
Difference Between Licensing and Buying
When you buy a license for an article or part of an analysis, you agree to edit as little as possible and to respect our copyright. This means you are supposed to give us credit in your magazine’s byline as the original author of the piece you’re running. If the article is published on a web magazine, you must add a link to IT Enquirer.
When you buy the full rights to an article, you can do with it as you like. You can edit it as you like, put your own name under it as the original author, and link to whichever web site you like. The only restriction with buying the full rights to an article is that you must not publish the article in such a state that it will be considered duplicate content by most Search Engines --when you want to publish it on a web site, the article must be changed in both wordings and style so that it has in effect become a different piece on an identical subject.
Prices for licensing start at 0.10 Euros per word. Excerpts from reports are 0.20 Euros per word.
Full rights prices start at 0.20 Euros per word, with excerpts from reports costing 0.30 Euros per word.
On IT Enquirer, we also publish both text-only tutorials and multimedia training packs. You can license these as well, but we don’t allow you to buy the full rights of this type of content. Rather, if you would like a training or tutorial to be created for your own magazine, we can create a unique one for you subject to prior agreement on pricing.
If you are interested in one of these syndication opportunities, do not hesitate to E-mail us (see our e-mail address in the sidebar). We will gladly discuss with you how we can be of further service to your publication.
