The newest version of the German solution for creating PDF forms, pdf-Office Professional Version 7.0, has been announced for release. The software is compatible with Windows, Macintosh and Linux platforms.

The pdf-Office Professional package is an innovative software solution for creating and designing professional PDf forms. The solution developed by UNIVERSE Software GmbH, based in Solingen, Germany, provides an intuitive way of making interactive PDf forms without any training needed - forms that the user can simply fill out electronically on the screen and print, with all of the additional features that the PDF format offers to be be displayed and processed on any workstation at any desk without the need to alter templates. Up to 128-bit encryption ensures maximum data protection.

UNIVERSE GmbH already confirmed pdf-Office Professional’s compatibility with Windows Vista in the spring of this year; since then, the entire user interface has been completely revamped to match the Vista look & feel. In addition, the technological software platform has been updated to the latest version of Java 6, thus ensuring absolute independence from hardware and software constraints.

The program is available for Windows 95 and later, MacOSX and Linux, and costs $133.00. UNIVERSE Software has kept to its usual practice of including updates and upgrades in the price. A free test version is available for download.
